All the company's cream comes from Big Island dairies. It uses as much local fruit as possible such as white pineapple, poha berry, ohelo berry, dragon fruit, mango, passion fruit, guava, apple banana and others. The company is working with Hawaii Tropical Fruit Grower’s Association in an effort to develop new flavors and expand the use of local fruit.

Kauai Coffee is committed to environmentally friendly agricultural practices including being the largest drip irrigation coffee estate in the world. This system delivers water and fertilizers directly to the roots of the trees so there is no spraying or dusting. Kauai Coffee uses no pesticides on its 3,100 acres of coffee. It is GMO free and has cut herbicide use by 75% through cultivation practices.

Kauai Coffee uses 100% renewable energy for its farm and plant and additionally provides 5% of the electrical power for the Island of Kauai.
